My name is Jamie Overbeek, I’m 20 years old and from the Netherlands. It’s quite special that I’m in the position where I am right now because I live 2 hours away from kite spots. I started flying kites on the beach when I was 6 years old because my dad let me try it once on a beach in Denmark, and I immediately fell in love with everything about kites!
I started kitesurfing when I was 9 years old and went camping with my dad, mom, and brother every weekend after school to go kiting. When I was 16, I finished school and started kitesurfing professionally. Now I’m traveling the world and I’m even winning world championships.
Woo has helped me a lot on this journey because the device has always pushed me to try and jump higher. Because of that, my jumping technique improved much faster and better because I could immediately see when I was doing something wrong. Now I’m holding the Woo height world record again for the second time!
