The WOO websites, mobile applications, electronic sensors, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) are operated by Boards and More GmbH (“Boards and More”, “WOO”, “we”, “us”).

Boards and More GmbH is the data controller for purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal data when you:

• use the WOO mobile apps or website (woosports.com),

• create a WOO account,

• use WOO sensors and compatible devices,

• participate in leaderboards or official competitions, or

• purchase or use WOO Pro subscriptions.

This Policy does not apply to third-party services you choose to connect to WOO. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

a) Account & Identity Data

• Name or username

• Email address

• Password (stored as a secure hash)

• Profile photo

• Country, language preferences

b) Activity, Sensor & Performance Data

• GPS location data and routes

• Date, time, and duration of sessions

• Performance metrics (e.g. jump height, airtime, speed, distance, g-force, rotations)

• Session metadata

• Sensor identifiers and device IDs

⚠️ Location and sports performance data are personal data and may be considered sensitive depending on context. These data are collected only when features are enabled.

• IP address

• Device type, operating system, app version

• Crash logs, diagnostics, and usage analytics

d) User-Generated Content

• Photos, comments, session notes

• Shared sessions and public profile data

• Leaderboard and competition participation data

e) Subscription & Transaction Data

• Subscription status (e.g. WOO Pro active/inactive)

• Purchase platform (Apple / Google)

• Renewal dates and entitlement status

We do not store full payment card details.

We process personal data to:

• provide and operate the Services and Products,

• record, analyze, and display activity and performance data,

• enable leaderboards, sharing features, and official competitions,

• manage WOO Pro subscriptions and entitlements,

• provide customer support and respond to inquiries,

• improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Services,

• communicate service-related messages, and

• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

For users in the EU/EEA/UK, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Contractual necessity – to provide the Services you request

• Consent – for location tracking, sharing features, marketing communications

• Legitimate interests – for security, analytics, fraud prevention, and service improvement

• Legal obligation – for compliance with laws and regulations

You may withdraw consent at any time via app settings or by contacting us.

Location data is used to provide GPS tracking, mapping, session visualization, leaderboards, and competitions.

• You can enable or disable location tracking at any time in your device or app settings

• Disabling location services may limit certain features

If you choose to make your profile, sessions, or competition entries public:

• your username, performance metrics, rankings, and related session data may be visible to other users,

• public data may be displayed globally in leaderboards or competition results.

You can control sharing and visibility through your privacy settings.

We use cookies, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies to:

• authenticate users,

• remember preferences,

• analyze usage and performance, and

• improve the Services.

You can control cookies via your browser or device settings. Disabling cookies may affect functionality.

We may share personal data with trusted service providers that help us operate the Services, including:

• Cloud hosting providers (Amazon Web Services)

• Analytics and monitoring providers

• Email and notification services

• Customer support tools

All providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Personal data may be transferred and stored outside the EU, including in the United States, where our cloud infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Transfers are safeguarded using:

We retain personal data only as long as necessary:

• Account data: until account deletion

• Activity and session data: until deleted by you or anonymized

• Subscription and transaction records: as required by law

• Logs and security data: retained for limited periods

You may request account deletion at any time.

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

• access your personal data,

• correct inaccurate data,

• request deletion (“right to be forgotten”),

• restrict or object to processing,

• receive a portable copy of your data,

• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

• access controls and authentication,

No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

The Services are not intended for children.

• Users must be at least 13 years old, and

• where required by law, parental consent is needed for minors.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

You may receive service-related communications (e.g. account notices).

Marketing communications are sent only where permitted by law and can be opted out of at any time via unsubscribe links or account settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated via the Services or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
